Trinity Global Room

The Global Relations Office maintains the Trinity Global Room, an innovative new space designed to link the College to the world. Whether you want to meet up with friends to mingle, browse through over 300 international television stations, attend or organise an event, or discover the range of international opportunities offered by the College, the Global Room is bound to have something for you!

Acting as a platform to celebrate cultural diversity within Trinity, the Global Room is a space where students and staff can relax, converse and learn about different customs.

Features include a wall of plasma screens that can be connected to by wireless headsets allowing visitors create their own individual viewing experience; a resource library with international reading materials and information on study abroad opportunities; a tea and coffee station, and state-of-the-art conference and seminar facilities for internationally themed events. Student to Student (S2S) will also offer a drop in service on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

Throughout the year the Global Relations Office organises a number of events including celebrations for a range of national holidays, film screenings, international dance, music and art showcases, along with seminars and talks.
