Students Union (SU) and Graduate Students Union (GSU)

Every student at Trinity College is automatically a member of the Students Union and postgraduate students are also members of the Graduate Students Union.

The Students Union, whose Officers are elected by the whole student body, represent student interests and provides a range of student services. Within House No. 6 in Front Square you will find the Students Union offices, a shop, and bookshop. There is also a Students' Union shop at the entrance to the Hamilton Building and a canteen in Goldsmith Hall.

There is an International Students’ Officer who is elected to represent and help you.

The Graduate Students Union represents the interests of graduate students. The GSU offers three main facilities: the 1937 Reading Room, the GSU Common Room on the first floor of House 7, (open daily from 8 am to 7 pm) and the GSU office in Room 28, House 6.

There is no specific International Students’ Officer in the GSU; however both the President and Vice-President are used to catering for the large proportion of International Postgraduates.
