The Centre for Language and Communication Studies runs a programme in English for Academic Purposes to provide language support to students whose first language is not English. The programme features two courses: 

1. An intensive pre-sessional course, which will take place from Monday 19th August – Friday 13th September 2013. This course consists of daily classes from 9:30am – 2pm over a four-week period, and will focus on written and spoken academic English. The cost of this course is €1200 for all four weeks or €300 for all four weeks.
2. Two weekly in-sessional courses, which will take place from September – December 2013, and from January – April 2014. Classes take place from 6-8pm or 7-9pm, Monday – Thursday, throughout term time. This course will also focus on written and spoken academic English. Classes take place from 6-8pm or 7-9pm, Monday – Thursday. There is no tuition fee, but a non-refundable enrolment charge of €50 is required upon application.
