Recruit Research Staff

Some posts within Research groups on established College grades must be approved by the Faculty Executive committee – For confirmation please contact your HR Advisor.

For details on how to advertise a position, please visit here or contact your Faculty HR Advisor. To facilitate advertising invoicing later, we require the original signature of grant holders to pre-approve advertising costs.

The recruitment section can receive and acknowledge all applications, although this may require a delay in advertising depending on the number of other recruitment competitions currently being managed by the section. Grant Holders can manage their own recruitment, but should at all times be aware of the recruitment cycle and the requirements under the Colleges recruitment policies and procedures.

Should you require any guidance or advice concerning recruitment, please do not hesitate to contact Gillian Maxwell on 3366 or your HR Adviser. Once you have identified a suitable candidate, then you complete a nomination form and forward it to your HR Adviser who will ensure the appoinment is approved at faculty level and forward to Human Resources for nomination to Council, set up on payroll and drafting of contract.
