Staff Development Unit

Welcome to the Staff Development Unit. Our aim is to support the College’s strategic plan by delivering targeted training and development solutions that will enable the achievement of these objectives. A programme of training and development activities for the personal and professional development of all College staff is available under the broad headings of:

• induction;

• supervisory/management development;

• personal effectiveness,

to enable staff to contribute to the overall aims of College.

Staff may apply for a place on advertised courses, workshops and seminars by completing a booking form and using the drop down menu to select the course you require. In addition, we provide customised training and development solutions for specific groups or teams following consultation.

The Staff Development Unit also provides ongoing support for the implementation of the Performance Development Scheme PMDS .
