Niall McGlynn

Biography

I received my BA in Natural Sciences from Trinity College Dublin in 2012, specialising in Physics and Astrophysics. I am currently studying for an MPhil in Early Modern History.

Research

I am currently working on my dissertation under the supervision of Dr Robert Armstrong. My dissertation examines the politics of religious conflict in early Stuart England. I focus especially on how the early north American colonies of Virginia and New England were represented in this conflict and how they influenced it. I am studying a broad range of textual sources including sermons and works of religious polemic.
