Trinity Celebrates Thanksgiving
Posted on 24 November 2016
The annual Trinity Thanksgiving celebration event was hosted today by the Global Relations Office. The event took place in the Global Room – a dedicated international student space on campus, to celebrate cultural diversity within Trinity. The event was held from 1-3pm for Trinity’s many US students who come to us both as visiting and full-time students. The event is held as a way of marking the occasion for US students, before they attend their own evening Thanksgiving celebrations.
As part of the festivities, a range of pecan, apple, pumpkin pies and warming drinks were served, with a virtual blazing fire in the background to set the scene.
Many students will be celebrating with a full thanksgiving dinner later this evening, so we would like to take this opportunity to wish all our students a very Happy Thanksgiving!
