Is córas scrúdaithe é teg d’fhoghlaimeoirí fásta Gaeilge. Tá baint aige leis an Fhráma Tagartha Comónta Eorpach do Theangacha (Comhairle na hEorpa, 2001).
Scrúdaítear na ceithre scil: Labhairt, Cluastuiscint, Léamhthuiscint agus Scríbhneoireacht. Tá na scrúduithe ar fáil faoi láthair ag cúig leibhéal ó Bhonnleibhéal 1 (A1) go hArdleibhéal 1 (C1).

teg is an examination system for adult learners of Irish that is linked to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (Council of Europe, 2001).
Examinations test the four skills: Speaking, Listening Comprehension, Reading Comprehension and Writing. Examinations are currently available at five levels from Absolute Beginners (A1) to Advanced 1 (C1).

- Registration opens January 2014 www.teg.ie
- Registration deadline for levels A1-B2: 14th March 2014
- Small contribution available from TCD's Irish Language Office to TCD applicants (up to €20 per applicant)- contact the office at gaeloifig@tcd.ie
- If you are interested in the exam, and are attending TCD's voluntary Irish classes, speak to your teacher who will provide you with a personal study plan.
