Regulations under the Offical Languages Act 2003

a) Regulations concerning Signage: any sign placed by or on behalf of Trinity shall be in the Irish language or in the Irish and English languages. The Irish text is to appear first and be of equal size, prominence, visibility and legibility as the English text.

b) Regulations concerning Stationery: headings of stationary used by offices, schools, faculties, etc. in Trinity shall be in the Irish language or in the Irish and English languages. The Irish text (title, company name, address, etc.) is to appear first and be of equal size, prominence, visibility and legibility as the English text. Stationary includes:

(a) notepaper;
(b) compliment slips;
(c) facsimile cover sheets;
(d) file covers and other folders;
(e) labels;
(f) envelopes.

c) Regulations concerning recorded oral announcements: those made by or on behalf of a public body (e.g. a voicemail on an office phone) shall be in the Irish language or the Irish and English languages. This applies to the main telephone number of an office, school, building, etc. It does not apply to personal oral announcements recorded by Trinity staff for their own desk or work phone.
