Car Parking

The only drivers allowed onto the campus are:

  • Parking permit holders, when spaces are available on the campus.
  • Delivery/Service vehicles
  • Vehicles driving directly to contractors enclosures
  • No visitor parking is available on campus
Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute (TBSI) & South Leinster Street (SLS) Car Parks

There are a limited number of car parking spaces (30 in TBSI and 10 in SLS carparks) available to rent on an annual basis to staff members of the University.

Discounted parking rates have been agreed with Park Rite at two of their car parks as follows:

Staff and Students

On production of a valid and current Staff or Student ID Card to the car parking attendant at the Park Rite IFSC or Fleet Street/Temple Bar car parks the discounted parking rates set out below will apply.

Drivers should, on their return to the car park to collect their car, produce their ticket and show their ID card to the attendant on duty who will then in turn charge at the discounted rate.Details of the locations of the ParkRite car parks are available on their website.

The tariffs for parking are as follows:

Visitors

There is a departmental VIP stamp procedure in operation at the IFSC and Fleet Street car parks. Please refer to the following link for further details VIP parking stamps.

Discussions are taking place with other car parking operators in the vicinity to try and negotiate further favourable rates for staff and students.

All visitors to the College not operating under the departmental VIP stamp arrangement should be advised that there is no visitor car parking available. They should be directed to one of the public car parks in the vicinity.

Both ParkRite and Q-Park have car parks within the vicinity of Trinity and can be recommended to visitors.
