Equality Office - Trinity College Dublin

IUA Equality and Diversity Group

The Equality Officer is a member of the IUA Equality and Diversity Group which comprises Equality Officers from all seven universities in the Republic of Ireland.

This group meets regularly throughout the year to share best practice and develop inter-university initiatives.

In 2009 the group established an inter-university creative competition for staff and students with the theme of Challenging Stereotypes, which was supported by the Equality Authority and funded by the European Year of Equal Opportunities for All Legacy Funding (EU). As part of this initiative two workshops have also been held on establishing staff networks and supporting LGBT staff.
