Support for Parents
Staff Parental Group
The Staff Parental Group is a working group established by the Equality Committee. The Group operates a series of initiatives, including the Parental Buddy system. If you would like further information contact Louise Power in Staff Relations.
Student Parental Group
The Student Parent Group is a self-supporting group for any student (male or female) who is already a parent or may be about to become one. The group meets once a week in the Senior Tutor's Office. This is an informal and friendly meeting with a light lunch provided.
Counselling Support
Staff Counselling - Employee Assistance Programme
The Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is available to all staff and offers a range of services and resources, including counselling.
Student Counselling Service
Student Counselling offer free, confidential and non-judgemental support to registered students, who are experiencing personal and/or academic concerns.

College Sports Centre
The Sports Centre offers a range of benefits and activities for members, including the annual Family Fun Day and mid-term Sports Camps for Children.
College Health Centre
The College Health Centre offers staff and students access to GPs, nurses, physiotherapy, and specialised Clinics. They also offer health promotion strategies and mental health management resources.
Mind your Mind! podcast
Occupational Therapy and the Centre for Learning Technology (supported by the Equality Fund), produced two podcasts to assist students and staff to support their mental health.
