Equality Committee

The Equality Committee is a Committee of Board with responsibility for advising Board and Council on all equality-related matters. The duties of the Equality Committee include assisting Board and Council in the development, co-ordination and implementation of equality policies, practices and action plans throughout College.

The Committee meets once per term, or as often as necessary. Membership includes academic and support staff, as well as two student representatives. The Committee and Equality Officer provide Board with an Annual Report on the Committee's activities.

The Committee operates under delegated authority from the Board, which is ultimately responsible for all matters relating to equality.
