Research opportunities
There are none at present. However, students interested in pursing a research degree should contact a staff member whose research is close to their own area of interest.
Funded research studentships are widely advertized in the press and all College PhD opportunities can be found listed on the College Home page. Further details of College and external funding can be accessed via the Graduate Studies Office website.
Environment Society

The postgraduates of the Centre are involved with the running and activities of the Environment Society which arranges a host of activities related to conservation, energy and the environment. The Scoiety can be contacted at environment@csc.tcd.ie and the website URL is http://duenv.csc.tcdlife.ie/
Databases and Research Theses

Undergraduate and postgraduate research dissertations and theses do contain significant local, regional and international data. The theses (Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Environmental Science 1982 - 2007) and dissertations (B.A. (Mod) in Environmental Science 1994 - 2007) which used to be housed in the Centre for the Environment are now located at the Freeman Library in the Museum Building. Each thesis and dissertation has been catalogued and may be searched for by author, title or subject on the Freeman catalogue.
