Trinity College’s research strategy encompasses all major academic disciplines and is committed to world-class research activities in important topics in Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, Medicine and the Arts. The College strategic focus is on five key areas, which are outlined in detail on the main College Research page. There is a wide range of sub-activities in each of these areas which have attracted funding from national, European and international sources. The Department has collaborations with many universities and other research institutions as well as industrial partners in Ireland, Europe, USA, Russia, India, Japan, Korea, Trinidad and Australia among others.
