Transition to Employment - T2E
The Disability Service has taken a three phase approach to student support. The third phase concentrates on supporting students to become independent self-advocates who can successfully transition out of College and onto employment, further study, or any other path they seek. The Disability Service develops its services in response to student feedback and research evidence. Click here for details on our current research.
Transition to Employment (T2E) refers to the practical support provided by the Disability Service; provision of information and workshops, employment needs assessment, and individual transition planning with final year students. Students can also utilise their Disability Officer or Unilink occupational therapist for support in relation to employment preparation. We also use the Disability Service Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages to circulate employment opportunities or internships for students with disabilities. In this section, the Disability Service also provides information for employers hiring graduates with disabilities.
