A guide for Academic Liaison Officers on the Disability Service
Each school appoints an academic liaison officer to liaise between the staff and disabled students within a school and the Disability Service. The role of the academic liaison officer includes:
- Circulation of needs Assessment Memos(LENS) to relevant staff within the school.
- Ensure that supports recommended within LENS Assessments are put in place at a Department/School level.
- To act as a local contact for students with disabilities.
