Trinity College Dublin – Access Audit Implementation Plan

Trinity carried out a University wide physical access audit in mid-to-late 2008. This was an important and valuable study, carried out under the auspices of the Trinity Disability Service and the Director of Buildings Office, which will allow us to plan and ensure that the University meets the requirements of all applicable legislation and building regulations relating to universal design issues. The outcome of this audit was followed up with identifying priorities. This webpage shows the audit results for each building (broken down into zones 1-17) with an implementation plan (costs associated with each is a 2008 figure and an estimate).

In advance of meeting the University's commitment to try and ensure all strategic buildings in Trinity are accessible by the Disability Act 2005 deadline of 31st of December 2015, an implementation plan has been developed and updates on progress will be reported here and in the Trinity Disability Act 2005 Annual Report.
