Please find a list of helpful booklets & information:
Information for International Students
International and European Union (EU) students are entitled to have a needs assessment and a Learning Education Needs Summary report arranged for them; this can include support like extra time for examinations and library supports.
International and most EU students are not entitled to claim Fund for students with disabilities - see criteria here:
http://www.studentfinance.ie/mp7576/check-your-eligibility/index.html
However the Disability Service will do what is reasonable to ensure the student has a fair and equal opportunity to succeed, and has limited funding to support this.
Erasmus Students
The Erasmus programme focuses on enabling European students, including students with disabilities to study for short periods abroad. Support is provided in terms of guidance, accessibility, technical support services and extra financial costs for students with disabilities.
At Trinity College Dublin, the Disability Service will do what is reasonable to ensure the student has a fair and equal opportunity to succeed. It is important that the student has arranged funding for their support before the start of their course in TCD.
International and ERASMUS students wishing to register with the Disability Service should make an appointment for a Needs Assessment at the earliest opportunity on arriving in College, and should submit evidence of a disability by email to disab@tcd.ie If necessary an English language version of such evidence should be available.
