Pebblepad ePortfolio System
PebblePad is a web-based tool that enables learners to develop, maintain and share an electronic collection (or e-portfolio) of work, learning experiences and activities that they have been involved in academic or professionally. PebblePad is a resource for students registered with the Disability Service, to support your personal development and growth and can support you in managing your transition into employment.. You get your own individual account for life and everything that you create remains private unless you choose to share it. An app called ‘Pebble Pocket’ is now also available for free with your Pebblepad account.
You can upload images or videos displaying your achievements; keep a blog; or use the in-built templates to reflect on your skills, goals, and progress. Keeping these items together allows you to reflect on your development over time - giving you a window to your former self. You can then bring these separate items together using a “webfolio”, which is like a website, to showcase your development. You can have lots of webfolios, each using different items or the same items in different ways. This enables you to tailor each webfolio to a different audience, e.g. a mentor or a potential employer.
Please contact Kieran Lewis in the Disability Service at firstname.lastname@example.org to be set up and be given login details.
