Trinity Sports Scholars 2017
The School of Creative Arts congratulates Luke Rock on becoming a Trinity Sports Scholar!

We are delighted to announce that a student from the School of Creative Arts announced as a recipient of a 2017/2018 Trinity Sports Scholarship at an awards ceremony in the Dining Hall on 27th November 2017.
Music and Irish student Luke Rock was awarded the scholarship for Basketball.
Speaking prior to the awards night, Luke commented: “I am honoured to be selected as a Trinity Sports Scholar and I feel that it is a great way to start my Trinity sporting career. I am excited to have the opportunity to make use of the facilities and benefits that the scholarship offers. I am looking forward to developing as an athlete by making use of everything the scholarship has to offer and, most importantly, I am looking forward to competing for Trinity Sport throughout my time here.”
The college awarded 63 scholarships this year, all of whom were unveiled at a celebration in the university. Trinity Sport’s scholarship programme for 2017/2018 comprises 63 male and female student athletes representing 18 different sports. Among the sports included are taekwondo, Gaelic football, basketball, rugby, sailing and hockey.
