Rivers Unseen by Michael Gallen
We invite you to join us for the performance of Rivers Unseen, a new work composed by the Trinity Long Room Hub’s 2015-16 artist in residence, Michael Gallen. The piece is a response to three paths of Arts and Humanities research as well as to the architecture and context of the iconic building itself. At 6pm on Wednesday, 19 October, the piece will be performed by Michelle O'Rourke (mezzo soprano), Lina Andonovska (alto flute) and Tonnta Vocal Group conducted by Robbie Blake. The performance will be followed by a panel discussion with Michael Gallen and his research collaborators. It will also facilitate an introduction to the 2016-17 Trinity Long Room Hub Creative Arts Practitioner in Residence, Maarten Rischen.
