Chinese, Introduction to Language and Culture
This course teaches a basic ‘survival’ repertoire of spoken Chinese and introduces some central aspects of Chinese culture, including the writing system. As much use as possible is made of authentic materials. This course will take place only if there are sufficient enrolments to make it viable.

EUR 395 payable in advance (reduced fee for unemployed persons and those in receipt of a social welfare pension). This fee is strictly non-refundable once the course has commenced.

Thursday, 6.30 - 8.30 p.m., beginning on 29 September 2016, in the Centre for Language and Communication Studies, Arts Building, Trinity College, Dublin 2.
The course lasts for twenty-four weeks, divided into two twelve-week terms.
