Role

The role of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is to develop and manage Trinity College Dublin’s Administration and Support Services. The primary objective in carrying out this role is to ensure that the Administration and Support services actively contribute to the achievement of College’s overall strategic goals and objectives.

The main responsibilities of the Office of the Chief Operating Officer are:

  • Delivery of efficient fit-for-purpose administrative and support services
  • Coordination of all Administrations and Support Services
  • Lead restructuring in these areas
  • Coordination of  specific cross-functional programmes and projects such as the Enabling Strategy eStrategy, enhancing the accessibility of student services and the review of student accommodation requirements
  • Coordination of the Strategic Plan Implementation for Administration and Support Services
  • Assessment of cost effectiveness of services
