Emergency Response Plan

 

In the Event of an Emergency:

  1. Ensure your own safety
  2. Call the College Emergency Number (01 896) extn. 1999
  3. Advise:
    • WHAT the emergency is
    • WHICH EMERGENCY SERVICES are required
    • WHERE the emergency is (building/floor/room)
      24hr Security Staff will summon the service(s)

As a reminder of what to do in an emergency, ensure this document is on view in your area's rooms.

This Plan is maintained by the Emergency Response Plan Review Team, comprised of the Chief Operating Officer, Secretary to College, College Safety Officer and a number of other staff.

This Plan applies to emergencies or major incidents occurring on the main College Campus, and all other external facilities to the main Campus. Emergencies or major incidents which occur in College property which are located in other institutions' facilities, will be handled on a case-by-case basis in liaison with the relevant body.
