All of the activities below are FREE for Health and Sports Week only. Students and staff as well as Sports Centre members and non members are welcome to take part in the activities below. We cater for all levels of ability.

LAUNCH: Front Square. Performace by Dance Soc

DU Dance will be showcasing a 'Healthy Trinity' by performing a short mixed piece involving several dance styles in front square, to promote healthy, fun exercise in the form of dance!

Acupressure session with Mark McGauran (A taster session lasts 20 minutes. One person per session.)Ki Acupressure is a dynamic system developed by Korean Buddhist MonkCheong Wol. E.P.H.combines acupressure with techniques found in Shiatsu and Hwal Bup to correct and balance the body at a physical and energetic level. Sports Centre, book at reception

The Women's Rugby World Cup is currently doing a tour around Ireland and is visiting Dublin in advance of the competition being held here this summer. The event includes a Q&A session with former Irish captain Fiona Coghlan and current internationals Niamh Briggs, Lyndsay Peat and Ailis Egan (who is a Trinity graduate). This will be followed by an open training session with the Trinity Women's Rugby team.

Nutrition, Sleep and Stress Talk with Mark McGauran and David Lynch from Trinity Sport

Nutrition topics:
The factors that affect your health and well being
The truth about carbohydrates
Good fats versus bad fats
Food sensitivity 
Sleep and stress topics
Stress causes, signs, dangers and symptoms. 
How to manage it effectively. Sleep importance and purpose along with negative effects of sleep deprivation. How to improve sleep quality.

Trinity Sport Campus 5K: Anna Geary from Ireland’s Fittest Family will be leading the race this year.

The annual Campus 5k is a great opportunity for students and staff to get active.....whether running or jogging the fantastic setting of the College.  The event is focused on participation and is aimed at all levels....so get involved.
