Interested in doing a PhD?

Individuals interested in pursuing a Postgraduate Research programme in the area of Disability should contact Prof. Michael Shevlin and arrange an appointment to discuss their research interests. A provisional proposal should be available for discussion at this meeting. If the proposal is deemed suitable a supervisor would then be identified and agreed on. Once this has been established the candidate may then proceed to make their application.

There are 2 options when applying for a Doctor in Philosophy (Ph.D.)

Full time option: From 2 years minimum on the register - to 4 years maximum
Part time option: From 3 years minimum on the register - to 6 years part time maximum
