About the Project
This project was an evaluation study of the Limerick Youth Advocacy Programme jointly with the Child and Family Research Centre, NUI Galway.
YAP is an intervention designed to meet the needs of young people deemed to be “out of control” by integrating young people into the community and availing of formal and informal supports. YAP programmes were established in the West of Ireland and in North Dunlin in 2002, and more recently in Limerick. The evaluation covers all aspects of the programme from operational, theoretical, service delivery and financial aspects.
