Springboard for Women in Business Initiative (2002-2004)

The objectives of the project, funded by the Wicklow Chamber of Commerce, were to identify women's motivations for becoming entrepreneurs and the barriers they encountered in setting-up and running a business. The study examined the role of support agencies in order to improve the services provided to female entrepreneurs and to identify a model of best practice. Summary and final reports were prepared.
