Summer Catering Operations in Trinity College
During the Summer period from May until September, the following Catering outlets remain open for visitors and staff on campus. All outlets are managed and operated by Trinity College's Catering Department.
The Buttery Food Court
Opening Hours:
7.30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday
7.30am - 3pm Friday
7.30am - 10am Saturday (Breakfast only)
8.00am - 10.30am Sunday (Breakfast only)
Located just off the main square of Trinity College, The Buttery Food Court offers continental and full breakfast daily. The restaurant is open for lunch with a choice of hot meals and cavery, salad bar and a range of 'grab and go' snacks, hot and cold beverages and pastries.
The Hamilton Restaurant
Opening Hours:
7.30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday
7.30am - 3pm Friday
7.30am - 10am Saturday (Breakfast only)
8.00am - 10.30am Sunday (Breakfast only)
The Hamilton Restaurant offers continental and full Irish breakfast, a choice of hot meals and a range of 'grab and go' snacks. The restaurant offers both hot and cold beverages and a selection of confectionery items.
The Arts Cafe

9am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday
Located in the Arts Building close to the Book of Kells, this popular cafe offers a premium barista Lavazza coffee along with a range of sandwiches, snacks and cold beverages. External seating in Fellows Square is available.

On campus, students have a wide choice of restaurants and coffee shops to suit all tastes and budgets. We are delighted to announce that as from January 2012, we will now be providing Lavazza Coffee in all our outlets, ethically sourced and superior quality.
The Buttery Food Court
Located just off the main square, The Buttery Food Court offers a wide range of food choices. This is a great place to meet and catch up with friends between lectures. We offer a full breakfast range, made to order deli bar featuring a wide range of breads and fillings, a hot food offer and salad bar and a Lavazza speciality premium coffee bar located in the Vaults. The Food Court regularly features meal deal promotions or themed food events.

Lavazza at the Arts - "Good Coffee for here or there"
This busy cafe has recently had a new look and offers a sumptuous range of quality coffees, teas and hot choclate. We also offer a range of hot and cold beverages, mouth-watering pastries, sandwiches and grab and go food offers. This is the ideal venue for those rushing from one appointment to another.

Hamilton Restaurant
Located at the front of the Hamilton Building, this restaurant offers the home from home comforts, a made to order sandwich bar, hot food offers and a full range of grab and go snacks and confectionery. Regular meal deals and special promotions feature all year round.

Student Buffet
Located in the historic surroundings off main square, students are served a selection of hot dishes, soups and desserts and can dine in the elegant splendour of the dining hall. This is open lunchtime only in term. Opening Hours : 12 noon to 3pm Monday to Friday

This popular coffee shop gets a new look this year! Preium hot beverages and a range of grab and go snacks and pastries, a great place to see or be seen!

Lavazza at the Knowledge Exchange - "The New Kid on the Block"
Our newest outlet opened in October 2011 and is steadily growing in popularity, located on the second floor of the Biosciences builidng, we serve premium hot beverages and grab and go snacks. There is also a large vending operation available.

Aras an Phiarsaigh Coffee Area
This little oasis at the centre of campus is a great place to grab a tea or coffee on the run. Kickstart your day in the "Aras," ideally located near to the day nursery, the theatre and the IT centre. If you need a "pick me up" during the day, you will not be disappointed.

The East Dining Hall
Accessed through the Common Room, the Dining Hall or via the stairs at the rear of the catering building, this private dining room serves lunch which includes a full range of hot meals, desserts and a salad bar, we also serve a choice of soups.

The 1592 Restaurant
This exclusive fine dining restaurant is ideal for staff who wish to entertain guests at lunchtime. Please visit our 1592 page for further details.

Off Campus Catering Outlets:
For students in the School of Nursing & Midwifery in D'Olier Street, there is a cafe located in the fabulous art deco atrium of this landmark building with signature coffees and teas and a range of fresh baked pastries, gourmet sandwiches and snacks.

For students located in either St. James's or Tallaght Hospitals, Kylemore operates cafes in both sites with a premium Starbucks coffee offer, deli made to order sandwich range and grab and go snacks to suit all palates and pockets.
