Postgraduate Online Application Process
Trinity College has now moved to an on-line postgraduate application system. Applicants for the specialist masters programmes must apply online through the Postgraduate Applications Centre (PAC) in Galway at http://www.pac.ie/tcd

Select Option: APPLY TAUGHT (under the heading New Application)
N.B. Please note it is not necessary to complete all the programme choices on the online application forms. Applicants should only apply for postgraduate programmes they are specifically interested in being considered for and should check the entry requirements on the online Postgraduate Prospectus before submitting their online application. If in doubt, prospective applicants can get further clarification on entry requirements directly from the Graduate Studies Office.
Access to a computer and printer - Applicants must print their application receipt and supplementary documentation at the final stage of the online application form.
You must have an active e-mail account in order to use this facility. All communications regarding the status of your application will be sent to you via e-mail. It is your responsibility to ensure that you check your e-mail account regularly for such correspondence. Applicants using webmail e-mail addresses, please note if you have the high junk mail filtering option in your email account, emails from PAC and TCD may be flagged as Junk. You will need to either reduce the Junk mail filter or else add the Postgraduate Application Centre, Galway (info@pac.ie) and all Trinity College (*@tcd.ie) e-mail addresses as two of your safe senders. All communications regarding the status of your application will be sent to you via e-mail. It is your responsibility to ensure that you check your e-mail account regularly for such correspondence.
PPS Number - Irish applicants will be required to have their PPS number.
TCD Student Number - Applicants who are current/past graduates/postgraduates at TCD must have their existing TCD student number.

Supplementary Forms: In addition to the details you submit on-line, please note that there are additional supplementary forms to be completed for certain taught postgraduate programmes. Where applicable, you will be prompted to download the form when you reach the Application Receipt page. Completed supplementary forms, which must be marked with your PAC number, should be forwarded to the Postgraduate Application Centre, 1 Court House Square, Galway as soon as possible after applying online. Please note that your application cannot be considered until you have submitted the required supplementary forms. Note that you must also submit your GMAT scores, if required.
Non-TCD Graduates: Please note you must forward official documentary evidence of any third level and or other professional/vocational qualifications that were not completed at TCD. Officially copies of academic transcripts (if current student, studies to date) and certificates/parchments of your qualifications listed on your application must be forwarded directly to the Postgraduate Applications Centre, 1, Court House Square, Galway, Ireland (marked with your PAC Number).
You are not required to submit evidence of degree(s)/postgraduate qualifications pursued at Trinity College. However, if you are a current TCD student/TCD graduate and have also completed additional degree(s)/postgraduate qualifications in another University/College, you must provide official copy documentary evidence of your qualifications.
All applicants MUST note their 8 digit application number (PAC Number) which will be given to you at the final stage of the online application procedure. You will need your PAC Number to log into your "My Application" account on the PAC website to obtain updates on the status of your application. The "My Application" facility will hold information on updates on your application and the final decision on your application. All supplementary documentation forwarded to PAC must be marked with your PAC Number.
While completing an online application, can I save an incomplete application before submitting it?
Yes. The first page of the application form, with the exception of entering a student number, must be filled in. After this point your application can be saved at any time. Thereafter, to complete the application you have already saved, go to the "Continue Application" section of the online application system and the Continue Application login screen will appear. Applicants will be given a special PAC Username and Password to continue their online application and this will be valid until they finish the online application.
IMPORTANT: Your PAC Username and Password should be kept strictly confidential.
Check Application Status Regularly
All applicants MUST note their 8 digit application number which will be given to you at the final stage of the online application procedure. Once you have made an online application, you will need your PAC Number to log into your "Application Status" Account on the PAC website (www.pac.ie/ucc under the heading "My Application") to obtain updates on the status of your application during the application and selection process and your final application decision.
Applicants should check the status of their application regularly by logging onto www.pac.ie/tcd and selecting "Application Status" under the heading "My Application". Applicants will be asked to key in their PAC Number and date of birth. The final application decisions will be available at www.pac.ie on applicant's "Application Status" account.
The Postgraduate Applications Centre, Galway is not responsible for the assessment of your application. The assessment of your application takes place at TCD.
