The MSc in finance is taught by a team of leading academics with significant industrial and practical experience. The core group of academic faculty from the School of Business in Trinity College Dublin is augmented by others with specific experience, academic and industrial, in relevant modules.
Professor Khurshid Ahmad
Professor Khurshid Ahmad, Trinity College Dublin. Khurshid is Professor of Computer Science with a particular interest in computational finance and the extraction of quantitative data from qualitative. He has published in journals such as Neural Networks, Natural Language Engineering, Technical Analyst and Neural Computing.
Mr Francois Aubert
Francois is a member of the CFA Institute Professional Development Committee which oversees the Professional Development Program for CFA Institute members. A Board member of the Swiss CFA Society he was previously Director, Private Banking Switzerland, for BNP Parisbas. He now acts as a private banking consultant, and lectures on masters level courses in Sqitzerland and elsewhere in Europe
Professor VIVIANA FERNANDEZ
Professor Fernandez works at the University of Chile in the Department of Engineering Economics. She has published in journals such as Physica A, Review of Pacific Basin Financial Markets and Policies, Japan and the World Economy, and Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money.
Professor Gerard Dwyer
Professor Gerard Dwyer, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Gerard is Vice President in the Research division of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. A past president of the Society for Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics, Gerard is a graduate of University of Chicago. He has published in Journal of Monetary Economics, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, American Economic Review, and Journal of Money, Credit and Banking.
Dott. Pierangelo Franzoni
Dott. Pierangelo Franzoni is Director and Chief Investment Officer of MPS Asset Management Ltd, Monte Paschi Group's investment company devoted to portfolio management by risk-controlled quantitative methods. A graduate of Southampton University, Pierangelo has previously taught on masters level investment and finance courses in the United Kingdom and in Italy. He is a regular speaker at leading industry conferences.

Professor Brian Lucey
Professor Brian Lucey, School of Business, Trinity College Dublin. Brian is the course director and also the coordinator of the very successful INFINITI research group in TCD. An associate editor of Journal of Multinational Financial Management and Financial Review, he has published in journals such as Journal of International Money and Finance, Financial Review, Applied Financial Economics, Journal of Economic Surveys, Journal of Multinational Financial Management, Physica A, and Emerging Markets Finance and Trade. He holds a PhD from Stirling University
Professor Betty Simkins
Professor Betty Simkins, Oklahoma State University. Betty is the Williams Professor at the Spears School at Oklahoma State. She has extensive experience in all areas of risk management, and has published in journals such as Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Journal of Derivatives Accounting, Journal of Finance and Journal of International Business Studies. Betty obtained her PhD from Case Western Reserve University
Dr Constantin Gurdigev
Dr Constantin Gurdigev, Trinity College Dublin. An adjunct at the School of Business, Constantin is editor of Business and Finance, the leading weekly publication in business in Ireland. He has published in Entrepreneurship and Economic Management, Journal of Housing Economics and in a wide number of books. He holds a PhD from Trinity College Dublin
Dr Svitlana Voronkova
Dr Svitlana Voronkova, School of Business, Trinity College Dublin. Svitlana has published in journals such as Journal of International Money and Finance, Quarterly Journal of Business and Economics, Journal of Business, Finance and Accounting, and Applied Financial Economics. Her research interests are in international finance and pension funds in emerging markets.
