Pamela Sharkey Scott
Pamela Sharkey Scott completed her PhD and other degrees in Ireland and in the UK and is a fellow of the ACCA. Prior to entering academia, she was a senior manager with a leading Irish bank, working closely with key indigenous and multinational organisations on strategic financial management. She held several research and academic leadership positions in DIT before joining NUI Maynooth to develop their international management offering.
Over the last fifteen years, Pamela has designed, delivered and developed a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and executive programmes and modules in International Business, Strategy and Entrepreneurship on Undergraduate, MBA, Masters and Executive Education Programmes. She currently teaches International Management in Maynooth University, and the International Business Module on the MBA in Trinity College Dublin.
Pamela has published in the world’s highest ranked journal in international management, Journal of International Business Studies as well as other leading international journals, including Journal of World Business, Technovation, Organization Studies, and Long Range Planning.
