Visit from Deputy Prime Minister Trung Hai of Vietnam

Deputy Prime Minister Trung Hai (Trinity MBA 1995) was back on campus at the end of October as part of an official state visit to Ireland. During his meeting with the Provost, he recalled the many days he spent in the Library as well as his fond memories of Prof John Murray's classes.

Another alumnus Huong Nguyen (Trinity MBA 1999) accompanied Deputy Prime Minister Hai on his visit from Vietnam. Huong is now working for the Embassy of Ireland in Hanoi.

The delegation from the School of Business that met with Deputy Prime Minister Hai included Head of School,
Dr Gerard McHugh, Prof Louis Brennan, MBA Director Vincent Dooley and Linda Soriton. John Dillon (Trinity MBA 1999), Alumni Director of the University, and Catherine Williams, formerly of the MBA programme but now based in the International Office, were also there to meet our distinguished guest.
