Careers and Development
Career support is a constant theme throughout the year. The Trinity Business School has a dedicated Postgraduate Career Development Officer, Ruth O’Leary. Her role is to provide the tools, support and skills necessary to enable MBA candidates to independently explore career options and make informed career decisions. This is achieved with class presentations as well as individual meetings. Ruth continues to provide careers support following graduation.
TCD Careers Advisory Service
The TCD Careers Advisory Service (CAS) is also available to MBA candidates. Included in the many services provided by CAS are an extensive Careers Information Centre and an award-winning website. Both contain information on all aspects of the career-planning process, employment search, as well as details of ongoing career and graduate recruitment events. CAS also offers TCD students exclusive access to Vault’s Career Insider and the ‘Going Global’ resource with country specific information.
Civic Engagement Office
The dedicated Civic Engagement Office can also help students to identify and pursue a volunteering opportunity which suits their needs, interests and availability and which will allow them to develop additional skills and confidence while studying at Trinity College.
Front Gate Online
Front Gate Online is Trinity’s web based alumni community, which allows graduates to connect with other alumni and support current students. This community is very useful for students and graduates seeking or offering employment.
