Student Testimonials

James Duff - Class of 2012

James Duff

"The MSc in Business and Management at Trinity was a very comprehensive course presented by a number of engaging lecturers.  The 'competitive advantage'- so to speak - of the course lies in the breadth of its teachings, with modules providing important insights into a variety of different business sectors ranging from Marketing to Entrepreneurship.

I am now confident in my ability to create a business, manage a team and make astute strategic decisions.

Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Trinity and have found the MSc in Business and Management to be personally fulfilling and a smart career move".

Aisling McGettigan - Class of 2012

Aisling McGettigan

"The MSc in Business and Management definitely aided my search for employment. Not only did the Masters open up new areas of employment to me, it also complimented my Law degree.

My eventual decision to train in tax at financial services KPMG was a result of discovering where my background in Law could fit with my newly developed interest in Finance.

I would recommend this Masters to any law student whose interest has been focused on the areas of commercial or financial law. Law students who have interests in marketing, entrepreneurship or third sector work could benefit greatly from exploring the MSc Business and Management".

Ciara Nass - Class of 2012

Ciara Ness

"I have thoroughly enjoyed the different subjects (such as Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources to Financial Management and Strategy), which were taught in different ways depending on each lecturer, who are all renowned experts in their relevant fields.

As a class we gained hands on experience through for example the design of a marketing plan for a variety of internationally represented companies to analysing the financial performance of one of the largest retail supermarkets. Overall the course is highly demanding and requires great commitment of every student. There were several long nights involved, where I had to take advantage of the 24/7 Reading Room finishing off projects or revising for exams.

I would definitely recommend this programme to undergraduates hoping to work for renowned companies in the private sector and seeking a broad but thorough education of this sector".
