Professor Kristian Myrseth, Associate Professor in Behavioural Science and Marketing in Trinity Business School

Kristian Myrseth is an Associate Professor in Behavioural Science and Marketing. He joined Trinity Business School in September, 2016, having previously held appointments at the University of St Andrews and ESMT European School of Management and Technology. He holds an AB in Economics from Harvard (‘04) and a PhD in Managerial and Organisational Behaviour from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business (‘09).

Kristian’s research focuses on behavioural decision making and judgment, spanning the disciplines of social-cognitive psychology and economics. His research has explored self-control, altruism, and cooperation, and a more recent programme investigates risk perception and consumer finance. His work has appeared in a wide range of international journals, including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Psychological Science, Experimental Economics, Journal of Economic Psychology, and Judgment and Decision Making.
