The programme addresses the challenges confronting organisations in international markets. It enhances management practice by developing a deep understanding of the strategic challenges that must be addressed to build a formidable market presence in an international setting. The course provides participants with a practical understanding of how to compete successfully in international business and supports the development of strategic management capability in participants' organisations that is on a par with the best international competitors.

This is a part-time programme aimed at managers of small and medium-sized Irish enterprises.

Course Structure
The programme is run in 'executive management' style with part-time attendance over two years. It is designed to ensure that each participating manager can be fully effective in his or her company while completing the programme.
Participants will spend an Explorer Week at Babson College where they will participate in a programme especially tailored to meet the needs and objectives of the International Business programme.
Entry Requirements
Applications are accepted from:
- Graduates of recognised universities with first or second class honours degrees.
- Holders of degrees, diplomas or professional qualifications from recognised institutions who, in additional, have relevant work experience.
- Individuals with professional experience, deemed to be of equivalent standing to academic or professional qualifications, may be considered for admission.
- Candidates must satisfy the programme selection committee of their ability to cope with the practical and academic demands of the programme.
- A final prerequisite for the prospective candidate is a personal ambition to optimise the benefits to be gained from the programme and to make a significant contribution to the long term performance of their organisation.
- Places available on the programme are limited. Our selection procedure will ensure that all participants are of an exceptionally high calibre.
