One of our current projects is the development of an alternative solution to varicose veins procedures. Trinity Centre for Bioengineering is working in partnership with  St. James’s Hospital and Tallaght Hospital.

Examples of our researcher driven projects to solve clinical needs includes the development of a new cutting balloon catheter and the development of a novel tendon repair device.
