Research and Innovation

The Trinity Centre for Bioengineering has a focused research programme delivering excellence in research, education and innovation, but also the translation of innovative solutions into medical devices and practical applications that enhance patient care, thus enriching and facilitating the development of the medical device industry in Ireland.

These research themes form the foundation for enabling technologies for advances in key areas of active and passive implantable devices, surgical and medical device design, as well as informing clinical studies and interventions in ageing, neurodegeneration and rehabilitation.
