Legacies

Since the granting of its Charter over 400 years ago, Trinity College Dublin has benefited from many legacies, and the quality of the University's teaching and research today is testimony to the foresight of our benefactors.
Legacies offer individuals the chance to give something back to an institution that will stand the test of time. Usually, where the size of the gift permits and in accordance with donor wishes, Trinity will use income generated from the capital sum donated, thereby ensuring the long-term impact of the legacy.
If you are considering making a provision for the College in your will, we are very grateful. By letting us know your intentions you can help Trinity plan for the future. We can then ensure that your gift is appropriately honoured and we will keep you informed about current developments. Any information you provide will be treated in the strictest confidence.
