Residential Charges for the Academic Year 2011/2012
Payment should be made online at : https://accommodation.tcd.ie/StudentBookings/ (opens in a new browser window) The amount due should be paid two weeks prior to arrival. These figures are approximated, and may vary slightly.
Room Deposit
Every student granted rooms must pay a deposit of €250, within 14 days of the offer, otherwise his/her right to the room lapses. Deposits are payable electronically by secure online credit card transaction. Arrangements for the deposit to be returned will be made when the student has vacated, has paid all outstanding charges and surrendered all keys.

Utility Charges
In addition to rental charges there is a separate daily charge covering the various utilities available within the particular type of accommodation you are being offered. This charge is payable with the rental charges.

Junior Common Room Charges
A €40 subscription is charged for membership of the JCR, which is the representative and co-ordinating student body for all Trinity Hall residents. The JCR is responsible for the organisation of social events throughout the year, and membership entitles each student to the use of leisure facilities provided by the JCR, and attendance at social functions hosted by both JCR and SCR.
Early Arrival & Daily Extensions
For students whose lecture term starts earlier than 16th September and who wish to take up residence before that date, please complete this 'early arrival form' and return to the Accommodation Office:
Extensions can be arranged for a period not normally extending beyond the day following your final examination. Provided that the Trinity Hall Accommodation Office is notified and paid before April 14th, students may extend, based on the rates set out below for each day required after May 25th.
If you wish to extend, please print off and complete an extension form and return it to the Accommodation Office with your payment.
