The Examinations and Assessment Team, in the Academic Registry, coordinates the timetabling process College-wide in collaboration with the SAS (Student Administration System) User Support Unit which also provides specialised training for timetablers in the use of Facilty CMIS, the College timetabling system. Strict module code conventions must be followed in the system.
Courses are timetabled locally by School and Course Administrators. Students and staff may query detailed timetables for the current academic year via the student portal, my.tcd.ie. Further information on lecture timetables is available in relevant School and Course Offices. Various class and module lists are also available via my.tcd.ie.
All lecture timetabling should be conducted using the Facility CMIS software. School and Course Administrators have overall responsibility for lecturer timetabling relating to their Schools / Courses.
If you require assistance relating to the process of timetabling e.g. guidance on the process of timetabling, clash resolution, room availability etc. please email the Examinations and Assessment Team at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone at 01 896 4501.
The Facility CMIS system is supported, in the first instance, by the SAS User Support Unit. To obtain technical support in relation to Facility CMIS, please email email@example.com.
Training in the use of Facility CMIS is provided by the SAS User Support Unit. Facility CMIS software cannot be installed or used until training has been completed. Training is provided periodically throughout the year. If you require training please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
