Anonymous Examination Numbers are available at my.tcd.ie. Students should log on to their own personal portal page, select My Exams and then select My Exam Number to view their examination number. Students should retrieve their examination number prior to attending the examination session.Students are required to familiarise themselves with and abide by the Guidelines for Students at Examinations and to follow all instructions given by invigilators in the venue.

Please note that the timetable details available on these webpages or via my.tcd.ie are the definitive versions. In the event of a conflict between a timetable published locally and a timetable published on the College website, the details contained in the website version will prevail. Further examination details (eg. practicals, orals, vivas etc.) may be obtained from your School, Discipline or Course Office.

Saturday 18 August to Saturday 25 August 2018
There is no supplemental examination fee and no registration required. No notice is required of intention to take a Supplemental Examination in the course for which students have registered.
Monday 24 September to Friday 28 September 2018
Permission must be granted by the Senior Lecturer or Dean of Graduate Studies to sit a Special Examination. In all cases, a Special Examination fee is payable. Your Tutor will advise you of the current examination fee. The fee must be paid via the my.tcd.ie portal before taking a Special Examinations.
Monday 8 January to Friday 12 January 2018*
Notice is required of intention to sit Foundation Scholarship examinations. Candidates for the Foundation Scholarship Examinations should submit an online application form to the Academic Registry in November 2017. Examination timetables will be published in early December.
*It may be necessary to hold some Foundation Scholarship examinations in the preceding week.
Subjects examined are: Biblical Studies and Geology. Intending candidates should contact the Academic Registry (Admissions).
Monday 30 April to Friday 25 May 2018
Some Schools will hold examinations throughout the year. Please consult the Almanack in the Calendar. Timetables for annual examinations outside of the main Annual Examination session will be published a month prior to examinations taking place. Timetables for the Annual Examination session will be available in early April. No notice is required of intention to take an annual examination in the course for which students have registered.
