Research Administration
Welcome to the webpage of the Research Administration Section (RAS) within the Treasurer's Office, where you will find all the necessary information in relation to the administration of research accounts.
The Research Administration Section manages a wide portfolio of externally funded research grants and contracts. This entails administering circa 1,200 research accounts, awarded to over 400 Principal Investigators from over 200 different Sponsors, across every Discipline and School in College.

- Support financial activity of research grants from commencement to cessation
- Preparation and reconciliation of financial claims to sponsors
- Recording of research income
- Processing of research expenditure
- Co-ordination of financial audits
- Circulation of monthly financial eReports to Academic Community
- Reporting of statistical data internally and externally
