Welcome to the Capital section within the Treasurer’s Office which relates specifically to the accounting for Capital Projects. The area of accounting for Capital Projects comes under the remit of the Financial Planning Manager. The Director of Buildings Office and the Buildings Office are responsible for the planning and co-ordination of all building and maintenance works within the College. The accounting for Capital Projects involves:
- The separate recording of income and expenditure for each Capital Project
- Reporting on Capital Projects (reports are co-produced with Director of Buildings Office):
- Quarterly Capital Reports to Finance Committee
- Bi-Annual Capital Reports to Estates and Board
- Preparation of Annual Capital Projects Accounts for College’s Financial Statements
- Verification of expenditure claims to Sponsors
- Co-ordination of Audits on Capital Projects by:
- KPMG
- C&AG
- HEA
- Government Departments
- European Union
