Student Fees
Following approval of tuition and miscellaneous fee levels, the Treasurer’s Office has responsibility for the billing and collection of all tuition and other fees from the Higher Education Authority, Local Authorities, students and others as appropriate, payment of student awards and prizes along with administration of the Stafford Loan student aid programme. The Treasurer’s Office recommends a required increase for Postgraduate, Self financing and Non-Eu fees to the Finance Committee each year. It also accounts for and reports on all fees and determines a provision for bad debts.

Fee Payment Deadlines:
The deadline for payment of outstanding fees is 1st September, 2011.
Fee Payment Forms are currently being mailed to all students.

Local Authority/VEC Grants
Students are reminded that they must renew for their grants annually.
New entrants must submit to the Fees Office a copy of the letter of award from their Local Authority/VEC. Please write student number/CAO number on this copy before submitting.
Local Authority / VEC maintenance grant cheques are distributed by the Student Records Office. Further details can be obtained from their website:

Funding documents
Where a student’s fees are funded (i.e. Research, departmental, etc), all forms must be submitted to the Fees Office at least 5 working days before the student is due to register.
