6th PhD Summer Skills Event, Monday 10th & Tuesday 11th June 2013

Postgraduate Summer School Students


The Student Learning Development Service is organising a PhD Summer Skills event that will take place on the Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th of June, 2013. For masters and pg diploma students check out the Masters Skills Event.

The PhD skills event is open to all students currently studying at doctorate level from all faculties. The objective of the event is:

To provide you with information, skills and self-management strategies which will help you work towards successfully completing your PhD.

To encourage a sense of collegiality through meeting others discussing your work and networking with your peers, as well as with academic and other administrative staff.

The programme for this year is below and the location is the Arts Building (Rooms 4050B and 3071). Registration is required as places are limited. You can register here.

Masters Skills Event , Thursday 18th April, 2.00 - 5.00 pm & Monday 22nd April, 10.00 - 1.00 pm

 

The Student Learning Development Service is organising a Masters Skills event that will take place on the Thursday 18th April 2013 (2.00 - 5.00pm) and Monday 22nd April 2013 (10.00 - 1.00pm).

The Masters Skills Event is open to all students currently studying at Masters and Postgraduate Diploma courses from all faculties. The objective of the event is:

To provide you with information, skills and strategies which will help you work towards successfully completing your Masters or Postgraduate Diploma;

To encourage a sense of collegiality through meeting others discussing your work and networking with your peers, as well as with academic and other administrative staff.

The programme for this year (Location for each is Aras an Phiarsaigh, Room 1.11) The is no need to register for this event. The room holds about 40-50 people so first come first served. We look forward to seeing as many as possible at this event.
