Volunteers are committed to providing an atmosphere that is free from moral judgements.Non-directive:
Niteline volunteers will not pester you for information or offer you advice. We will not tell you what to do. We will work through things with you.Run by students for students:
Niteline volunteers are not just well intentioned amateurs. Before taking any calls, they go through a rigorous screening and training programme based on the Samaritans model and run with the help of the College Counselling Services. Ongoing training and support for volunteers is also a priority.
