Trinity Students selected for Ireland

Three Trinity students will represent Ireland this month at World University Championship level, organised every 2 years across a number of different sports and comprising the crème-de-la-creme of athletes at third level, on a global scale.

Rosalind Hussey and Ruairi Short make up the Irish team currently competing at the World University Orienteering Championships in Alicante from 2 – 6 July.  In Karate, Sports Scholarship student Brian Meehan is one of 3 Irish students travelling to the World University Karate Championships being held in Slovakia from 12 – 16 July.
